The K’riem Scott produced track depicts Nello as a messenger born to help deliver a powerful message to save the world. Nello is urging the listener to become more aligned with their ancestral past. ‘MAABA’ literally means “the soul that sees”, as she believes she is one of few that sees the world is in spiritual warfare.
