Big Bushgi – Biggest In The City
Hollis, Queens recording artist Big Bushgi releases Biggest In The City LP featuring Billboard charting artist Lil’ Vicious through independent label Forever On-Point/Power Move Records.
“I’m proud and relieved at the same time to put out a full body of work,” said Big Bushgi, producer and rapper from Hollis, Queens, New York. “We did videos for most of the songs. As a producer, I usually produce myself. Still, I wanted to be extra creative on this album, and we secured a team of producers. I feel like I am the biggest in the city because I know the number of hours and creative energy I put into each record. Plus, it feels good to make music with the people you’re within the trenches for real. Lil Vicious and Casanova being on the album was just the icing on a masterpiece.”
Big Bushgi dropped the video from the first single from this album, “Do Enough,” and amassed over 125,000 views on YouTube. During a photoshoot in Hollis, Queens for Adidas Legends, DMC from the famous hip-hop duo RUN/DMC called the record “dope.” Big Bushgi followed up the record with a second release, “Stupid,” featuring fellow Queens native 23 Layoo. “Stupid” garnered 140,000 views on YouTube. It led to an interview with Hot 97 DJ and Vh1 personality DJ Drewski on Drewski’s The New MVMT show.
